The country music duo Montgomery Gentry released its debut album Tattoos & Scars in April 1999. The album went Platinum. Now, 16 years and seven albums later and the duo––composed of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry––is set to release its eighth album, Folks Like Us, on Tuesday June 9th. Less than a week away.
The band released its first six albums through the Columbia Nashville label, its seventh––Rebels on the Run (2011)––through Average Joe’s Entertainment, but will release this latest album through Blaster Records.
